Our justice journey is not over.

I’ve always said that we are going to do great things together and that our movement doesn’t stop because of one race.

I’m going to take some time to decompress, spend time with my family, and rest a little bit. And then, baby, we’re coming back stronger than ever.

The mission stays the same — we are going to continue to fight for the poor, the working poor, and the barely middle class.

We are going to keep fighting for policies that lift up families like Medicare for All, a $15 an hour minimum wage, and the Green New Deal.

And we are going to fight harder than ever for campaign finance reform and an end to dark money in politics.

So stay tuned because we’ll be making a BIG announcement soon that you won’t want to miss.

But for now, thank you again to all of you who gave your time, your talent, and your treasure to our campaign.

It’s ok to be disappointed. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed too. But we cannot be deterred in our justice journey.

There’s too much work still to do. And the only way we’re going to make progress for ALL of us is if we continue to stand together.
