good news and bad news today.

After Cori stayed outside of the Capitol for five days protesting the end
of the eviction moratorium, the Biden administration announced they would
issue a temporary eviction freeze. This was directly a result of Cori's
leadership and the perfect example of why it's so important we elect
activists to Congress.

Now, the bad news: Attacks from the far-right and white supremacists have
skyrocketed since Cori first sat down outside the Capitol with her
sleeping bag.

To be frank, we've seen a large uptick in hateful, racist, and threatening
mail sent to our office and Cori online lately. These attacks may seem
ridiculous, but John, let's be
clear: Attacks like these from Fox News and the far-right are dangerous.

Fox News profits off of misinformation, conspiracy theories,
fear-mongering, and racism. So when people like Tucker Carlson attack Cori
on live TV, they directly help cause a rise in the number of threats Cori
receives.

John, Cori needs our support
more than ever to overcome this wave of attacks and prove our momentum
isn't going anywhere. That's why our team has set a rapid-response goal to
raise $8,000 by tomorrow at midnight to make sure Cori has the resources
to fend off GOP attacks and keep pushing for the transformative change our
