Today Is National Mammography Day
This day serves as a reminder that our best defense is early detection.
Breastcancer.org supports annual mammograms starting at age 40 and advocates for a woman to have all the screening options available to her, including mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, and clinical breast exams. When used in combination with regular clinical and breast self-exams, mammograms are still the best tool to finding cancer early and treating it effectively.
We are committed to educating and empowering people
As experts in breast cancer information, we focus on educating people about breast cancer risk, screening, testing, and treatment options. By offering credible medical information, the latest research, and a community for peer support, we help millions make the best decisions for their lives.
We are a non-profit organization, your generous donations help Breastcancer.org connect more people with the resources they need throughout their breast cancer experience.
You can help us to continue to provide these important resources to our community — people who rely on us every day — by making a donation today.
Last year alone, over 20 million people came to Breastcancer.org for answers to their questions about breast health and breast cancer.
"The information has enabled me to confidently ask the important questions and in doing so, gain control over my treatment and its outcome... You have no idea how important this is to me." — Breastcancer.org Community Member
With your donation to Breastcancer.org’s CARE fund, you help us provide comprehensive information about breast health and breast cancer, special reporting detailing the latest research news, and access to a peer community of people who share their experiences and support each other.
On behalf of the millions affected by breast cancer, thank you for your support.
