Housing Strategy Specialist post

Nottingham City Council are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fulfil the role of Housing Strategy Specialist in the council?s Housing and Regeneration service. The post is being offered on a full-time permanent basis on Grade I of the council?s pay system.

The successful postholder will play a key role in the delivery of the City's housing strategy. S/he will work with colleagues from across the Council and with external partners and agencies in order to formulate and deliver a range of interventions to help the City to achieve its vision of 'quality homes for all'. This is a hugely challenging, yet exciting time to work in housing in Nottingham. The postholder will be in the thick of the Council's strategic approach to housing in the city.

Nottingham City Council is committed to recruiting a talented workforce that reflects the communities it serves. ?The council recruits for diversity and values difference, welcoming applications from people from all backgrounds and with different abilities. Although the post is based at Loxley Housing in the city centre, Nottingham City Council is a flexible working employer and conversations are welcome around this at the point of interview.
