Today the Atlanta City Council will vote on an ordinance to lease the Old Atlanta Prison Farm to build a private Cop City in the southeast Atlanta Forest. Join us for Atlanta DSA's monthly General Meeting! We will hear the latest from our chapter's campaigns and committees, discuss current events in the chapter, and debate and vote on resolutions. All members are encouraged to attend, and interested non-members are welcome!

This meeting will be primarily held in-person in a hybrid format, with a livestream available for members to remotely participate.

On August 21st, we'll be having our next Eat, Drink, and be Marxist social at the Georgia Beer Garden! We'll be starting at 8:00 pm.

Join Atlanta DSA's DARC organizers on August 19th at 7:00 pm as we recap our campaign to #StopCopCity! After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

On August 18th, come learn more about socialism and the factors that have shaped history and the world we live in. We'll discuss modes of production and their progression throughout human history, class consciousness, and our individual places in the capitalist hierarchy.
