If we beat this Republican-led recall attempt, it will be because we are running the largest grassroots campaign California has ever seen.

We’re off to a great start:

* More than 15,000 people have signed up to volunteer.

* We have more than 6,500 volunteers in a Slack channel communicating with each other every day and being assigned volunteer opportunities.

* We have sent more than 20 million text messages to Californians asking if Gavin Newsom can count on them to vote against the recall.

* We have ID’d almost 1 million voters who have pledged to return their recall opposed to this recall.

* The last two days we have averaged more than 1 million text messages per day, a record for our campaign.

* This week we started talking directly to millions of voters via text, on the phones and on the doors and in paid media making sure they have the information they need to return their ballots opposed to the recall by September 14.

*In partnership with our allied organizations , we’re on track to make over 17 million calls to voters and knock on over 1 million doors across the state over the course of the next month.

This is a close race, and we will win if we have the financial resources AND the volunteers to talk to ensure Democrats return their ballots by September 14.
