Team --

In just the first half of 2021, there have already been over 1,100 prescription drug price hikes.

Americans pay nearly four times more on average than people in other countries for the same prescription drugs. Rising drug prices are costing Americans obscene amounts of money, and it’s time for us to take action.

NewDems Steven Horsford and Abigail Spanberger just introduced the Stopping the Pharmaceutical Industry from Keeping Drugs Expensive (SPIKE) Act, which would require drug manufacturers to publicly justify high prices for new pharmaceutical drugs or large price increases for existing drugs. Do you support their bill pushing for more transparency in prescription drug pricing? Let us know now: [[link removed]]

Let’s face it: If someone can’t afford their prescriptions, they have to choose between other priorities. That’s not a decision anyone should have to make.

Americans should have access to affordable, life-saving drugs. Period. Do you support the SPIKE Act, which would require drug manufacturers to publicly justify high prices for new pharmaceutical drugs or large price increases for existing drugs? [[link removed]]
