‌Republicans aren't even trying to hide it anymore, John.

A few months ago a Republican operative went on the local news and discussed attempting to gerrymander me out of Congress, saying “We’ve got a chunk of Republican voters we can put back in the Sixth. We can pull them from elsewhere and even it out more. So Lucy McBath… has got to worry about more Republican votes in that district.”

Georgia Republicans could attempt to draw unfair maps while trying to regain the House, despite not winning a majority of the popular vote in over seven years . And as my campaign manager Jake flagged in the previous email, we just saw them try to safeguard their plans to protect unfair redistricting in Georgia (and other states like TX, NC, and FL) with Ted Cruz blocking the For the People Act from coming to the floor in the Senate this week.

I’ll be frank with you, John — my position in Congress is more vulnerable than it’s ever been. We know that the GOP will try anything they can to unseat me, even if it means subverting Democracy. I didn’t run for office to get caught up in political games like these . I ran to honor my son Jordan’s legacy and to fight for gun safety reform. I ran for office to make sure that what happened to Jordan doesn’t happen to any child in our country, ever again.
