So this is a slightly different type of scaries. Our Democratic majority is on the line, but we’re short of reaching our goal. We have never failed to meet our goal for a deadline like this.

And we can’t start now.

This is one of the last deadlines of the summer – and we need to keep our momentum going strong. But the most vulnerable Democrats in the Senate are already under attack by the GOP. And we can’t just defend our majority. We need to expand it.
