Our first full fundraising quarter is about halfway over, so I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why a $3 donation to our campaign today is so important.
At the end of this quarter, we have our second official FEC deadline, and when this deadline ends, we are required to report our fundraising numbers. We’ll do it if they are good, and we’ll do it if they are not.
The truth is everyone will be watching for our numbers — the press, our primary opponents, and the Republican Party. They all want to see if we can keep up our momentum because that's what it will take to flip this seat and expand Democrats’ majority.
Right now we are working to earn a lot more donations before this quarter ends. There’s still time to reach our goal, but only if we can get a surge of support to put us back on track.
We know there’s a lot at stake in this race. But if we work hard and keep the faith, we can deliver meaningful change and progress on health care, voting rights, climate change and so much more for our families.
