Friend, people in Haiti need us. To put this crisis into perspective, the catastrophic 2010 earthquake was the worst natural disaster in Haiti’s history and had a magnitude of 7.0 — and this morning’s was measured at 7.2 and falls on the same fault line.
Reports are already coming in of serious damage, injuries and casualties, and possible aftershocks could worsen the crisis. This earthquake has hit Haiti while its people are already facing multiple crises, including COVID-19, growing political instability and a deteriorating economy.
UNICEF is on the ground, ready to care for children and their families. We have safe water, medical care and protection services, but we know we’ll need more. Will you make an urgent donation now and rush lifesaving supplies to Haiti? |

As always, children are the most vulnerable in crises like these. We’ll continue to share updates with you, but right now, Haiti needs your help. Please give if you can.
Thank you,
UNICEF USA Crisis Team |
