Friend -
Did you watch Tuesday night's presidential debate?
There wasn't a single question asking candidates about what they would do, if elected president, to dismantle voter suppression and to ensure free and fair elections for all.
Next month's Democratic presidential debate will be held right here in Georgia, friend. Our state is the premier battleground state up and down the ballot, but it's also ground zero for voter suppression.
We need to keep voting rights front and center as we prepare to welcome candidates on November 20.
Next year, Georgia's 16 electoral votes are in play, and it is the only state in the country set to have two U.S. Senate races on the ballot, making it clear that any viable strategy to Democratic control of the White House and the Senate must include Georgia.
