Today is National Sunflower Day! So in honor of today, and all the wondrous beauty of nature, we'll send the first 350 people that donate $20 or more to Sierra Club a sunflower grow kit.
We could all use a little extra joy in our lives these days. So to celebrate the sunflower, here's some fun facts about the happiest flower (okay, we admit, we made that one up):
🌻 Sunflowers are native to the United States!
🌻 Most of us know sunflowers to be yellow, but they also can be red and purple too!
🌻 Typically sunflowers range from 2 ft to 16 ft tall, but the tallest sunflower is over 30 feet!
🌻 A sunflower's head is actually thousands of tiny flowers!
