I just wanted to send you a reminder that tomorrow is the last day of the special enrollment period. Folks have until August 15 to sign up for a health care plan in the Affordable Care Act marketplace.

The COVID-19 health crisis has emphasized how critical quality, affordable health insurance is, which is why I worked with my colleagues to pass the American Rescue Plan to lower costs. 

Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, on average a family of four earning $40,000 would go from paying a $136 premium for their health care, to nothing. A family of four making $90,000 would see their premiums decrease by $200 a month. 

As your representative, one of my top priorities is to make sure that North Texans have access to the coverage they need. Visit healthcare.gov today to choose a plan that works for you and your family’s needs.
