The Whiteboard is your regular dose of what’s happening across the Truth to Power movement—from what our 2020 endorsed candidates are up to in Congress to what our 2022 endorsed candidates are fighting for on the campaign trail. Our call to action is to enable Truth Tellers to share their story and contribute to the movement. You won’t want to miss it.
So without further ado, here’s what our Truth to Power alumni have been up to:
On Monday, the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a report calling for swift and immediate action on climate across nations. The report confirms what we already know: Climate change is here, and it will require a transformative shift in our economy to meet the goals set in the Paris Agreement.

In both climate and infrastructure spending, our nation’s minority communities have been the most consistently harmed and unheard. Representatives like Jamaal Bowman have been fighting hard to ensure that when we’re investing in our future, no voice is excluded. On Tuesday, the Senate passed a $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill, sending the critical legislation onward to the House.
