John, I'm excited to share the latest from CRC with you:What does the Left want? ([link removed]
Since the turn of the 20th century, progressivism and liberalism have pushed for increasingly burdensome government restrictions on personal conduct, justified with a simple claim: It's for the people's good. But the COVID-19 pandemic reveals the truth behind this mask. CRC's Mike Watson observes the shuttered schools, travel restrictions, and the crime wave facilitated by far-left prosecutors and draws the logical conclusion here ([link removed] is wrong with California? ([link removed]
"California is a 'perfect storm' of a lot of bad ideas." Los Angeles's homelessness dilemma provides a window into the risks of a "one-party" state like California, as well as the dangers of relying on the activism and litigation supported by left-wing philanthropy. CRC's Michael Hartman and Ken Braun discuss California and its discontents here ([link removed] does Big Philanthropy serve? ([link removed]
Among America's liberal plutocrats, the climate-conscious fly private jets and buy island mansions, famous socialists own multiple houses, and the biggest critics of income inequality leverage capital gains losses to pay little-to-no income tax. In addition, their "philanthropy" has become more political than charitable and utterly disconnected from its roots in Christianity's love for one's fellow man. CRC's Hayden Ludwig plots the river of money flowing to political causes here ([link removed] is taking the COVID-19 vaccine door to door? ([link removed]
What began as door-to-door outreach and education on the COVID-19 vaccine has turned into a manufactured grassroots campaign to vaccinate adults in North Carolina. Action NC's canvassing plan is strikingly similar to campaigns launched to support and promote Obamacare. CRC intern Victoria Ydens reports how Action NC is using Democratic campaign techniques to achieve President Biden's "70 percent vaccinated" goal here ([link removed]

Easy to Vote,
Hard to Cheat
In this episode ([link removed] We all want honest, free, and fair elections in which it is easy to vote and hard to cheat. As state legislatures across the country consider legislation to restore normal legal processes for election administration after the emergency changes made in 2020,Congress is still pondering H.R. 1/S. 1. This legislation would essentially override all state-level election administration regulations.
Joining us to discuss the status of federal and state debates over election procedures is Jason Snead, executive director of the Honest Elections Project.
