The recall is in a "dead heat," with 46% of likely voters saying they'll vote YES to recall Gavin Newsom. At this point the recall could go either way, depending on who shows up to vote. If Democrats don't turn out in force, expect someone like Larry Elder, Kevin Faulconer, or even Caitlyn Jenner to be California's next top executive. They'll take an anti-science, anti-vaccine approach to dealing with the Delta variant and California's recovery. We can't let anyone like that close to the governorship.
