Today is Social Security’s 86th Anniversary! Nearly 49 million seniors have paid (and about 180 million workers are currently paying) their hard-earned money into Social Security. These are your earned benefits. They do not belong to the politicians in Washington who want to use them like a piggy bank to pay for other fiscal priorities.
