John,

This week’s redistricting panel has set a new record: only 6 minutes of public comment in Chanute before the group adjourned for dinner.

Public consensus notes that these hearings are scheduled at incredibly inconvenient times and limit participation — which seems to be the Kansas GOP’s goal. Kansans also agree that there is not enough information from the Census to make the critical decisions involved in redistricting, and that public input should be received by an independent commission instead of legislators keen on gerrymandering to save their own seats.

The Kansas Democratic Party is fighting hard against Republican gerrymandering attempts in our state's redistricting process. With help from supporters like you, our movement continues to grow as we push towards equity in Kansas.

Can you contribute $20, $35, $50, or $100 today to help the Kansas Democratic Party fight against Republican obstruction of our state's redistricting?
