John,
We've heard *a lot* about budgets this week.
Earlier this week, Senate Democrats approved a $3.5 trillion budget plan — the first step in a long process towards finalizing major investments in health care, pandemic relief for women and families, the climate crisis, and more.
We understand that where a society spends its resources is a reflection of its values. So before these negotiations are finalized, Women's March wants to hear from you, John: What do you think should be prioritized in our nation's budget? Take our quick interactive survey to share your thoughts.
As quoted by Martin Luther King Jr. and countless others, budgets are moral documents. Budgets reveal our country's true values. From our work fighting for fair pay and breaking up the Billionaire Boys Club, to our local organizing work on Feminist Budgets, it is clear that so many of the life and death issues we care most about come down to budgeting and resourcing issues at the local, state, and federal levels.
We don't have a resource problem — we have a distribution problem.
What sounds more feminist to you, John?
More funding for schools and communities, or more funds for over-incarceration and over-policing?
More money for families and expanded child tax credits, or loopholes for billionaires like Jeff Bezos?
More spending on affordable health care for ALL, or more needless tax cuts for giant corporations and CEOs?
These are the types of questions that our lawmakers are about to answer. But before that happens, Women's March wants to make sure that women and feminists all across the country make their voices heard about what they'd like to see in our future budget.
Together,
Women's March
