I want to check in with you -- I know these past few weeks have been a troubling time for our country.

We’ve now seen President Trump ask multiple foreign powers to investigate a political rival and interfere in our elections. There’s no ambiguity: What the president did was wrong. It’s at odds with everything our democracy stands for, and it’s a betrayal of our Constitution.

We need to hold the Trump Administration accountable for its actions. We know we have to stand up for what’s right and stand up for our country.

The only way we’re going to make it through this difficult time is if we’re all in it together.
