John, The latest news about Catherine Cortez Masto's race in Nevada is alarming: 

CNN is calling Catherine one of the most vulnerable senators in the entire country, and The Cook Political Report just downgraded her chances of winning in Nevada. 

Nevada could decide Senate control – and the GOP knows it. Catherine is already being outspent by GOP outside groups: They've poured nearly $1 million into defeating her, and the Senate Republican campaign arm just raised another $28 million that it could dump into Nevada. Make no mistake, John, Mitch McConnell and his allies are all in to defeat Catherine, flip Nevada red and take back the Senate.

If we don't help Catherine close the gap on her midnight grassroots fundraising goal, we risk this critical Democratic seat and our Senate majority. Please, John, I'm counting on you to split a contribution of $5 or more between me and Catherine to defend our Senate majority.

I worked closely with Catherine last year when she served as chair of the Senate Democrats' campaign arm, and I can tell you with certainty that we never could have flipped the Senate blue without her tireless leadership. And now, she's a top target for the GOP to dismantle that Senate majority – and she needs your help to defend this battleground seat.

The GOP spent nearly $50 million to defeat Catherine in 2016, and they barely lost.
