Thanks for reading our campaign’s first bi-weekly newsletter! What a week it's been for the Jason Lewis for Senate campaign, with Jason becoming the first 2020 GOP candidate in Minnesota to receive President Trump's ENTHUSIASTIC ENDORSEMENT for his United States Senate bid against do-nothing ultra liberal Senator Tina Smith!

President Trump said it best...Tina Smith "hasn't done a damn thing in the Senate," and Minnesota needs Jason Lewis. Take a look...

While that was certainly the highlight of the night at Donald Trump's record-setting rally on Thursday night, it was an eventful evening afterward. Like the rest of our fellow rally-goers, Jason and I had to wait well over an hour to get out of the Target Center on Thursday due to the raucous protests outside which saw numerous members of Antifa show up to commit violence and chaos. There were fires as well as assaults on police officers and their horses. Jason took a moment to address the situation (not to mention Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey's failure of leadership) from the crowded skyway...

Our campaign has clear and strong momentum after the President's endorsement, and the Democrats know they're in trouble. Recently the DFL Party Chairman admitted that Democrats in Minnesota "can't keep up" with President Trump/GOP campaign efforts in Minnesota. As Jason himself said in this article, Minnesota is front and center and extremely competitive, evidenced by the President's visit this week!

That wasn't all the news that came out of Thursday though! Before the rally, Jason personally welcomed Vice-President Pence back to Minnesota with a visit to Safety Signs, LLC in Lakeville, a family-owned business that produces highway signs and road/safety equipment. There's even more from last week, though! In an Op-Ed from Jason published in the Austin Daily Herald, Jason proudly promoted his record in working with President Trump to pass the largest tax cuts in a generation which have ushered in unprecedented economic growth, while correctly pointing out that Tina Smith's policies are harming middle class Minnesotans.

As you can see friends, we have built a lot of momentum since launching our campaign on August 22nd, but we are only just getting started.
