Here's why the proposed cuts to SNAP hit home

Proposed changes to SNAP would increase the risk of food insecurity for households with children and would make it difficult for those living on fixed incomes to access SNAP and make ends meet.  

No parent in America should have to choose between buying food for their kids or paying the rent, but proposed changes to SNAP would mean 1.9 million households would lose their benefits.
