This week, we have seen the pressure from Big Media to ‘rethink’ our strategy in Afghanistan, after just beginning to withdraw our troops, and we have watched as Big Tech bans sitting Members of Congress, among other things. At the behest of Nancy Pelosi, Congress will now be called back to Washington on August 23 to vote on some more massive spending bills. Here’s our week in review:
TROPICAL STORM APPROACHES NW FLORIDA

Tropical depression Fred is expected to reach Northwest Florida this Sunday. This is constantly changing, so please continue to stay up to date, as it is always possible that this could make landfall earlier. Although Fred is no longer categorized as a hurricane, I encourage everyone to take necessary precautions. It is always well worth the time to stock-up on essential supplies, groceries, and bottled water because storms can always be unpredictable!

Merely weeks after President Biden took a bold stance to bring our troops home, he is deploying 3,000 troops to help evacuate Kabul embassy staff as the Taliban advances. It already seems like we are back in the 2000s, incrementally scaling up our presence there because some people want us to NEVER LEAVE. We have no legitimate relationship with Afghanistan or the Taliban, so who are we attempting to preserve ties with? Here’s my response:

MILITARY VACCINE DEADLINE IN SEPTEMBER
I’ve heard from many of my constituents, who are rightly concerned about Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin’s military vaccine mandates. Now, the Department of Defense is requiring vaccines by September 15th, even though we have zero longitudinal studies of the effects that these vaccines have on the human body. Why is Lloyd Austin, the Democrats, and even some Republicans in support of requiring our nation’s bravest and most vigilant defenders to be participants in this experiment? Recently, I cosponsored Rep. Massie’s (KY-04) bill, H.R.3860, which would prohibit any requirement that a member of the Armed Forces receive a vaccination against COVID-19.The growth of the Big Brother state is troubling and I will continue to fight against it!

BIG TECH SUSPENDS MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
This week, Big Tech giants, Twitter and Youtube, have continued to selectively silence individuals who have been elected by the American people. Both Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (GA-14) and Senator Rand Paul (KY) have been silenced by a cabal of powerful oligopoly leaders. Each got a ‘7 day suspension,’ which is a strange response by any large Social Media platform for having different opinions than another American citizen.
Further, as horrifying as this subjective censorship is, I remain hopeful that Twitter’s actions will wake the American people up into seeing the importance of breaking up Big Tech immediately. Social media platforms like Twitter and Youtube were meant to be a marketplace of ideas. Now, they aim to target and censor Conservatives and Republicans. Youtube’s removal of Dr. Rand Paul, for challenging Anthonty Fauci’s anti-science opinions, is a reminder that Big Tech oligarchs have the power to silence their opposition at will.
Can we not debate anymore in this country without permission from the Big Tech tyrants in Silicon Valley?

On Monday, I joined Joe Pags to discuss election fraud, liberal witch hunts, and Covid mandates, among other things. The continuing surge of government control in the USA has now reached a result of mandatory vaccine passports and, subsequently, vaccine discrimination. Now, New York City will require both employees and customers to show proof of at least one dose for indoor dining and other activities.

REP. GAETZ JOINS BILL TO STAND UP TO ALIENS TAKING AMERICAN JOBS
Immigrants with final orders of removal are set to return to their homes, and President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security limited proposed to do so. While this sounds very simple, we still have a broken immigration system, where the Attorney General may overrule deportation of illegal immigrants and allow them to take jobs that would otherwise be filled by an American in need of employment. Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ-04) is the original sponsor of this bill, and I am proud to join him!
