FRIEND,
This past week I joined fellow Republicans in Nashville at the
RNC’s Summer Meeting. These meetings are a fantastic opportunity for
states to share insight and experiences, as well as provide feedback
on current issues of importance. At this particular session, carve out
states unitedly expressed the importance of our current presidential
primary calendar. Over 150 members united to hear from New Hampshire,
Iowa, South Carolina, and Nevada to hear first hand why our current
system is so functional. With Maryland National Committeeman Dave
Bossie, North Carolina Chairman Michael Whatley, and Ohio Chairman Bob
Paduchik as hosts of the event, we demonstrated strong support for the
nominating calendar as it is.
I’m honored to serve on the RNC’s 2024 Presidential Nominating
Committee and I appreciate RNC Chairman Ronna McDaniel for appointing
me. With all 4 carve out states represented in this working group
chaired by my colleague and friend Iowa GOP Chairman Jeff Kaufmann we
are in the best position possible to defend our First-in-the-Nation
Presidential Primary and our current nominating calendar for 2024.
As one last reminder, Linda Camarota is campaigning in Hillsborough 7
and needs all of our support to ensure a successful special election
win! Whether you choose to donate your time or financial support, any
resource is an asset to her campaign.
