John,
This isn't hyperbole, and this isn't an overreaction: This is a very real warning about the toxic ideology that white Christian Nationalists have been able to infect our political discourse with.
The Daily Beast: The Racist 'Theory' That Inspired Murderers Is Now GOP Dogma
“Replacement theory” is not just talked about in back rooms and in hushed tones -- no, major news networks like Fox News ROUTINELY allow guests to come on and spout this dangerous ideology, which in turn inspires violent action.
We don't need to remind you of the historical examples of white Christian nationalists using replacement theory to justify horrific acts of violence, but we do need to warn you that this is a much bigger problem than you think.
Hugely popular conservatives are using their national platforms to speak about and further amplify replacement theory. Conservatives like Newt Gingrich, Paul Gosar, Stephen Miller, and Marjorie Taylor Greene are among the many white Christian nationalists whose entire platform revolves around this racist dogma. And it's up to us to stop them.
White Christian Nationalists won't stop for anyone, so neither can we. John, please help us meet our critical $2,000 fundraising deadline so we can fight back against this horror. We need to reach it by midnight, and if you can chip in $5, $10, $25, or even more, you will be playing a crucial and direct part in stopping white Christian nationalist extremists in their tracks before their rhetoric further escalates and takes hold on American politics and media. >> [link removed]
