Democrat,

Republican gubernatorial candidate Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli was hoping for a boost when he chose longtime State Senator Diane Allen as his running mate, but instead, his campaign has been further engulfed in controversy. In a recent interview, Senator Allen revealed her extreme right-wing views on immigration, gun safety, LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and support for Trump. It’s clear that the Ciattarelli-Allen Republican brand of extreme right-wing politics would put our families in danger.

All in all, Jack is having a pretty bad few weeks. Watch our new video to see why.

Header: Gov. Murphy Update

When Chris Christie was governor, New Jersey’s credit rating was downgraded 11 times due to his poor financial planning and ineffective management. That was one of the major challenges facing Governor Murphy when he took office, with the state’s debt practically at junk bond status and borrowing costs rising. Now though, Governor Murphy and his team have turned the tide and earlier this week the third major ratings agency upgraded our credit outlook to “positive.” This comes even as the state continues working through the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic challenges that it has created, making Governor Murphy’s achievement even more impressive.

Header: President Biden Update

President Biden has made passing a comprehensive, bipartisan Infrastructure bill to invest in our roads, bridges, transit, broadband and much more his highest legislative priority, and this week there was a breakthrough -- the Senate passed the bill overwhelmingly. This is remarkable progress that when fully enacted will mean nearly $8 billion for road and bridge replacement, $4 billion for public transit and hundreds of millions more for electric vehicle charging, broadband access and more.

Thank you,

-- Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr.

P.S. -- I was delighted to attend a fundraiser recently at the beautiful home of Governor Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy where we spoke about how critical this year’s election is. I’m looking forward to getting on the road as we get closer to the election, visiting counties all over our state to help rally support for our candidates.
