Unlike the establishment, we don’t believe in alarmist email fundraising
tactics. But for the sake of transparency, here’s some insight into what
our fundraising has looked like in the last year. As you can see, our
fundraising has significantly slowed down this year — all while the
establishment Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has hit
record-breaking numbers month after month.

Here’s a look at our fundraising trend line from August of last year:

Our finance team crunched the numbers, and if we want to reverse this
trend, we’ll need to hit our $70,000 mid-month goal. Justice Democrats
rely on grassroots supporters giving $1, $3, or $5 at a time in order to
fully fund the communications, organizing, and field programs needed to
fundamentally transform the Democratic party.

The DCCC raises money from Wall Street and corporate PACs to recruit
corporate candidates, protect incumbents, and maintain the status quo —
but 100% of what we raise goes towards electing working-class candidates
who will join Justice Democrats in Congress in fighting for progressive
change.
