This is a serious email about my opponent Kevin McCarthy's failure to hold Trump accountable for the offensive comments he's made about US Capitol Police Officers. Please read it, and then consider
chipping in $3 to help me get the word out and defeat him in the midterms.
After far-right insurrectionists attacked the Capitol injuring hundreds of police officers -- five of whom died -- McCarthy initially called for an independent investigation.
Then, he completely flip-flopped, shielding Trump from any accountability for his role in stoking violence that day.
Now, Trump is bashing the Capitol Police with veiled threats and McCarthy isn't doing a damn thing to defend them -- despite the fact they saved lives during the attack.
It's cowardly, hypocritical, and it's yet another reminder that McCarthy isn't fit to serve this district, let alone Speaker of the House. He'd rather kowtow to Trump and the fringe far-right than do the right thing.
If I weren't so frustrated by his actions, I would be embarrassed for him -- but I'm fed up and I'm ready to replace him.
I'm confident we can win this race, improve the lives of everyone in the Central Valley by focusing on real issues -- not beltway politics. In order to do that, I need your help:
