We’re launching block walking efforts across the country.

There’s no better way to grow the movement than one-on-one conversations with our own neighbors.

As our team focuses on pushing North Carolina across the finish line, we’re doing everything from launching radio and Facebook ads, to holding town halls across the state, and meeting with influencers in the capitol.

But perhaps most importantly, we’re building out a new block walking program that we intend to expand across the country.

So far, we’ve seen incredible results. The beauty of a government that’s close to home is you never know whose door you may be knocking on — it may be the state legislator’s aunt, sister, cousin, business partner, or best friend.

On one visit, our team was told that the respondent was going to swim with their state legislator later that day, and they’d talk to them about the issue.

These are the kind of connections that are priceless. It’s easy to say no to someone you don’t know. But when a trusted friend talks to you about an issue… you’re going to give it serious consideration.

We’ve already seen these exact tactics turn an uncommitted legislator to a confirmed “yes” vote for COS.

Imagine the impact when this program is fully rolled out across the country.
