Protest the climate summit together

Hi friend,

The IPCC report this week raised the alarm - the climate is in crisis, and the problem isn't going away.

For countries in the global South, the situation is already extreme. They are least responsible for the emissions causing the crisis but are the worst affected. One huge issue standing in the way of coping is debt.

There must be debt justice to have climate justice.

This year is crucial – the UK is hosting the global climate conference, COP26 in Glasgow. This is our chance to show the world that the people of the UK care about climate justice, whether our leaders do or not.

Would you like to come with us to Glasgow? We’ll cover travel and accommodation, but we can’t bring everyone, so we’ve set up an application process.

With you at our side, we’ll march at the big climate demo, as well as planning our own smaller stunts. You don’t need to have any experience, just lots of enthusiasm, and we’ll be with you every step of the way!

As unpredictable as the future may be – it also holds potential and hope. Apply to come with us to Glasgow to take action this November.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best,

Skye and the JDC Team
