Dear John, 

You may have noticed the outstanding job Daniel McCarthy has done as editor of ISI’s Modern Age. He has taken the publication to new heights.

That’s why I’m so excited to tell you that Dan will soon join the ISI team full time!

In addition to serving as editor in chief of Modern Age, Dan will become vice president of ISI’s Collegiate Network student journalism program.

This is a homecoming for Dan. He was an ISI student in college, where he ran an ISI Collegiate Network newspaper. And earlier in his career, he worked as a senior editor at ISI Books.

I’m thrilled that he will help ISI extend the reach and influence of both Modern Age and the Collegiate Network.
