We are thrilled the State Fair is back on again this year! For the past 10 years, we’ve been there, talking with voters from across the state about the importance of Ranked Choice Voting. Times have changed and so have our conversations with voters. Voters know our democracy isn’t working and more and more of them identify RCV as the solution to the dysfunction in our politics.

With RCV gaining traction here in Minnesota and around the country, there is so much to update fairgoers about:

The county’s largest city, New York City, just used RCV and it went off without a hitch!
RCV is underway in five cities in MN (Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Louis Park, Bloomington, and Minnetonka) and in nearly 50 cities across the country this year!
In 2018 and 2020, we helped elect dozens of RCV supporters to the Minnesota legislature and we’ll be continuing this critical work in the upcoming elections in 2022.
A bill for RCV statewide in Minnesota has been introduced and has the most signatures of any bill in the legislature. We aim to pass the bill and have RCV ready to use in MN for the next presidential election in 2024.

The Fair is a perfect opportunity to educate voters and invite them to join us in pushing for this critical reform.
