Hi folks, I’m about to ask you to chip in toward our mid-quarter deadline, but first, I hope you will give me a chance to explain why this request is so important, especially today.

You may not know this, but emails like this one are a large, essential part of our budget — keeping the lights on for our campaign and allowing me to stay focused on the job at hand. Our work is truly powered by folks like you chipping in what you can, when you can.

So, when you see our Democratic majority lead the fight to expand the child tax credit, modernize our infrastructure and expand broadband, take action to address the climate crisis, or expand quality, affordable health care, please know that your support is what makes our progress possible.

Unfortunately, we’re behind where we need to be for our August fundraising goal at this point in the month, but there’s still time to make up ground. So I'm asking:
