You may have seen some emails from my team about the new attack ads running against me in our district, but I wanted you to hear directly from me about what this means for our campaign and personally ask you to chip in a few dollars towards our $15,000 rapid response fund so our team has the resources to push back against these attack ads.

To make a long story short, a dark-money group is running new attacks against me -- and they’re spending $400,000 to put the ads in front of as many ME-02 voters as possible.
Their attacks are picking up steam. They’ve now spent over a million dollars against me so far this year, and we know this is just the tip of the iceberg of what these dark-money groups are going to spend this election cycle.
We need the ability to respond quickly and forcefully. With your help, we can correct the record and invest in ads of our own and a robust field operation to ensure ME-02 voters know the truth about my record of service.
This grassroots team propelled us to victory in 2018 and in 2020, and I know with your help we’ll win again in 2022. So John, will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to our rapid response fund? We’re looking to raise $15,000 by Sunday night.
