It's all looking good for the Nottingham team - Trent Rockets in this brand new competition. The men's side is sitting pretty for the next stages of The Hundred at third place in the table with two big home fixtures to finish this weekend. Today's match against second placed Birmingham Phoenix will be a real nail-biter.
The women's team is also going really well and could qualify for the next stage.
There are still a few tickets available if you want to go and cheer them on. Don't forget that alongside the amazing cricket action, there is live music thrown in.

Legendary folk artist *Richard Thompson* first gained prominence as the lead guitarist and songwriter for folk rock pioneers Fairport Convention. With a career spanning decades, Thompson now counts an Ivor Novello Award, Grammy nomination and a spot on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” amongst his many accolades.
His evocative songwriting, jawdropping guitar playing, and indefinable spirit has inspired everyone from Elvis Costello to REM & David Byrne.

This week's Band in the Park is *Newark Town Band*. The performance starts at 2pm.
Newark's present day brass band was formed more than 60 years ago in 1956, and became one of the town's most successful competition bands in the Sixties and Seventies.
Today, Newark Town Band is once again thriving with over 30 members on the books.
Apologies to those who visited the park last week to see the Maltby Miners Welfare Band. This concert was cancelled at short notice due to weather concerns and it is hoped the date will be rescheduled.
