John - as you may have seen the census numbers were released today and our team is pouring over the numbers as we speak. Here’s what we know:

1. California will be losing a Congressional seat for the first time ever. This means Josh’s district will be redrawn from scratch. We will for sure have thousands of new voters we need to talk to for the first time.

2. Our purple seat could get even redder. Josh talks a lot about how our district is in a sea of red, and he’s right. It’s possible this race gets even tougher.

3. We won’t know anything definitively for months. Final maps won’t come out until early next year, so we have to be ready for anything.

We were already facing one of the most competitive re-election challenges of 2022. Now, things just got twice as hard.
