John,
Senate Democrats passed a budget resolution yesterday, setting the stage for a $3.5 trillion package that would make our country more resilient, prosperous, and just.
Now it’s up to Democrats to deliver on the investments in jobs, climate, care, housing, and immigration in this bill. Let’s be clear: Even $3.5 trillion is not enough to fully meet the many challenges working families are facing — but it would absolutely be a big step closer towards a nation that cares for all of us.
That’s why we are organizing right now in districts nationwide to demand Congress pass the full $3.5 trillion bill — and to hold Democrats accountable for delivering on the change they’ve promised voters for so long.
Passing our full agenda, without compromise, will take all of us. Your contributions will fuel our organizing to win the jobs and care our communities need in the coming weeks:

Here’s what that organizing looks like:
In Philadelphia tomorrow, thousands will attend our Can’t Wait Live concert event in person and virtually from home. We’re going to raise the volume on every member of Congress to support a full jobs, care, and democracy agenda.
Then, we will mobilize in districts nationwide to demand members of Congress pass the full $3.5 trillion package — no excuses. We’ll also keep fighting for priorities that received insufficient funding in the separately negotiated bipartisan bill, including replacing lead pipes and electric school buses.
And we will also keep demanding that Senate Democrats abandon the Jim Crow filibuster, and do whatever is needed to pass sweeping voting rights legislation to safeguard our democracy from ongoing Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression.
An America that cares for everyone is possible John — we just have to fight for it. That’s why the Working Families Party is here. If you share this belief, please contribute $3 today to help WFP expand our organizing work nationwide. Your contributions are critical as we ramp up pressure on Congress from now through the fall.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
