This year has set heat records.

In British Columbia, hundreds -- _hundreds_ -- of people died in the
extreme heat. The communities of Lytton and Monte Lake burned to the
ground. Wildfires are still burning out of control.

It's 2021 and the climate crisis is upon us. Now our window to act to
prevent the worst impacts of global warming is closing rapidly.

It looks like 2021 is also an election year.

With the climate emergency already making lives so much harder for people
in Canada, the coming federal election is our chance to hold the government
accountable for its lack of meaningful action to combat climate change.

IT’S OUR CHANCE TO ELECT CLIMATE LEADERS – GREEN MPS WHO CAN BRING THAT
URGENTLY NEEDED AMBITION TO THE NEXT PARLIAMENT. THAT’S WHY WE NEED TO
RAISE $25,000 RIGHT NOW, TO MAKE SURE THE GREEN PARTY RUNS ITS BEST
ELECTION CAMPAIGN EVER.
