John,
On my birthday, Adam and the girls shared a card with me with thoughtful messages collected from people living in the district, across Virginia, and in states all over the country! I am grateful to have read your kind words and thankful for your contributions; they are vital to us building a successful campaign — so thank you.
This was my third birthday as a member of Congress, and I am honored to spend another year in this position, working for the Central Virginian community, which I love. I hope to spend many more birthdays representing our community and striving for progress in areas that matter — like expanding rural broadband, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and helping small businesses.
It means the world to me that supporters like you not only believe in this campaign but also believe in the work my team and I are doing to serve the people of Central Virginia. Your support is essential in allowing us to enact meaningful change.
While you already helped make my birthday a memorable one with the thoughtful card I received, I hope you’ll also consider contributing to support my campaign. We have a competitive re-election race approaching, and your support is essential in allowing our campaign to succeed.
