In just a few short moments, I will be joining our delegates on the ground for general session and become nominated as the next national Secretary of the Young Democrats of America. As I take the stage to declare my candidacy, I want to tell you why I’m running and why this work is so important to me.
Entering my second term as your President, I have had the honor of being able to see our organization transform into one of the most respected, valued and influential organizations in our state- we did this together. We have expanded our membership across the state, built one of the most diverse executive committees and we have elected bold, talented and fierce young democrats into office. We run, we win and together we have changed what it means to be a Democrat in Mike Pence’s backyard.
Every success we have had together as Democrats has been because of you. Every loss we have taken and strategically planned how we fight back harder doesn’t happen without you. All we have accomplished since hosting the 2019 National YDA Convention, I want to share with Young Democrats across this country.
I’m running for Secretary of YDA because Young Dems in this country deserve to have the same transparent, competent, skilled and bold leadership you all have in me. I want us to make an impact, change the course of history and show the country how #YoungGetsItDone.
