John, President Trump is attacking our health and safety by trying to revoke North Carolina’s authority to set stricter tailpipe pollution standards than the federal government’s.

For decades, the Clean Air Act has allowed our state government to do what is right by us. And now that could all go away.

What has our senator Thom Tillis said about all this? Not. A. Word.

North Carolina deserves more: Tell Sen. Tillis to stand up for clean car standards >> [link removed]

By remaining silent, Sen. Tillis is supporting this dangerous assault on the Clean Air Act and is out of step with other state leaders like Gov. Cooper and Attorney General Stein, who have already filed suit to stop this reckless rollback that endangers our health, our planet, and our economy.

By slashing the clean car standards, the Trump administration is putting corporate polluters over the people, and Tillis is letting them get away with it. It’ll cost us more at the pump and more at the doctor. And it’ll make our already dire climate crisis even worse.

Thank you for stepping up,
