Big news , John !

The Senate just passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (aka the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal), a landmark bill that will create good-paying jobs in Oregon and millions more across the country.

The Deal will rebuild roads and bridges, modernize America’s airports, rail, and public transit systems, and deliver clean drinking water and high-speed internet to every household in the country. What's more, it will help tackle the climate crisis by electrifying school buses, building electric vehicle chargers across the country, and upgrade our power infrastructure to be resilient against natural disasters.

And when combined with the upcoming budget reconciliation bill, it represents a generational investment into American families and a historic investment in fighting the climate crisis — all fundamental elements of President Biden's Build Back Better agenda.

These critical bills to create jobs and rebuild our economy and infrastructure are only possible because you helped elect Democrats to majorities in the House and the Senate in 2020. Will you make a donation to the Democratic Party of Oregon to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2022? [[link removed]]

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is poised to deliver real results for Oregon, including:

• $3.4 billion for Oregon roads and bridges
• $747 million to improve healthy, sustainable public transportation options
• At least $100 million to help provide broadband coverage across Oregon
• $52 million to expand Oregon's electric vehicle charging network
• $39 million to protect against wildfires

This bill is poised to have positive impacts in every single corner of Oregon and America, and build on the historic job growth we've seen since President Biden took office.

With the 2022 midterms fast approaching, we need all hands on deck to keep making critical investments into Oregonians and Americans. If you're able, please chip in to the Democratic Party of Oregon today. [[link removed]]
