We are pleased to announce the release of Race Forward's 2020 Annual
Report

The report highlights Race Forward's ability to meet the moment and
provide continued support to the racial justice movement during 2020 in
the middle of a global pandemic, uprisings against police violence, and
persistent attacks against both our work and Black, Latinx, Indigenous,
Asian, and Pacific Islander communities.
Some of the notable accomplishments featured in the report include:
Facing Race pivoted to a virtual conference in less than 6 months and
achieved our largest attendance to date with more than 4,000 attendees.
Our Building Racial Equity and Organizing Racial Equity Trainings
pivoted to virtual, training more than 3,000 people in 59 sessions.
Community support included providing close to $800k to local and
grassroots organizations and to families and communities of color to
support mutual aid efforts focused on emergency housing, food
insecurities, and barriers to virtual learning.
Launched the Butterfly Lab, a $1.8 million initiative, to change the
narrative around migration and immigration.
Membership in our Government Alliance on Race and Equity

increased by more than 100 jurisdictions bringing year-end 2020
membership to more than 300.
These accomplishments and the others listed in the Annual Report were
only possible because of the support of you, our community partners, our
Board of Directors, our donors, and our tremendously dedicated and
talented staff, who quickly adapted and pivoted to ensure our work was
stronger than ever.
We are thankful for all of you and look forward to achieving more this
year as we continue to work toward a true multiracial democracy.
