Hey -- If Election Day were a federal holiday, Americans would have all day to get to the polls and cast their votes. They wouldn’t have to take off work, juggle picking kids up from school, or reschedule their day just to exercise their right to vote. A small city in Ohio decided to do just that and made the decision to swap out Columbus Day as a holiday for Election Day.
