This film is about Ady’s fight with ALS and ongoing advocacy for Medicare for All. Ady and Brad have been long-time friends and have organized together to win paid sick days for all New Yorkers, ending stop-and-frisk, and much more. He was diagnosed with ALS in 2016 and has transformed his story into one that can inspire all of us.

Neighbor Network
At the start of the pandemic, Brad and our team saw that older people in our community would be most at risk and most isolated. We created the Neighbor Network to connect with seniors during the COVID-19 crisis, and so many of you have shown up to help with friendly calls and vaccine outreach. We have seen first hand and know that these organized calls help to fight social isolation, connect older New Yorkers with the resources they need, and build relationships that will bring joy and comfort to seniors and volunteers alike.
This month, the Neighbor Network is expanding its vaccine outreach program in partnership with the Cypress Hills Community Development Corporation and we need more help.
Our program director, Danya, shared a few ways you can get involved in these efforts. All can be found at this link: [link removed] [[link removed]]
