Isn't it incredible what we can get done with Democratic leadership? Seven months ago, President Biden took office and Democrats gained the majority in the Senate. We passed the American Rescue Plan to provide aid to families, small businesses and communities.

And now we've passed a groundbreaking, bipartisan infrastructure bill!

This infrastructure package is a historic investment in America's future. The help for our country's roads, highways, bridges and public transit is badly needed. And I'm thrilled that the package includes more than $65 billion for broadband based on my bill with House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn. That's funding we need to bring areas of the country without access to high-speed internet into the future.
