Team — Early Tuesday morning, Senate Democrats passed their multi-trillion-dollar budget resolution, which includes over $100 billion to support a pathway to citizenship for immigrant youth, TPS holders, farm workers, and other essential workers.
In the face of years of cruel, racist attacks, immigrant youth transformed our fear into direct action to fight for permanent protections for our communities.
And once again, we proved that our power is undeniable. With the inclusion of a pathway to citizenship in the budget resolution, we are one step closer to a permanent solution. Now, we need your help to keep up the fight and finish the job.
Chip in to help us keep up the pressure on Democrats to finally fulfill the promise of a pathway to citizenship. We have never been closer to securing relief for the millions living under the fear of deportation.

Despite the promising step forward, assaults on our community persisted this week.
A Senate-specific process — “Vote-a-Rama” — that allows Senators to introduce an unlimited number of amendments to the budget resolution took place this week too.
This allowed Republicans to force votes on anti-immigrant trade-offs. Some of these amendments included establishing strict criminal bars for those who would qualify for citizenship and capping spending for humanitarian needs at the border — and many Democrats voted in favor of these anti-immigrant amendments.
Friend, this process only reinforced the importance of continuing to hold ALL Democrats accountable while our future is up in the air — both those who voted with and against us.
We took a major step forward in the fight for a pathway to citizenship this week, yet it’s clear our work is far from over. Rush a contribution to help us finish the fight:

Over the past eight months, we organized outside of the White House and Senate offices, sent letters to elected officials, and mobilized communities to demand a pathway to citizenship for immigrant youth, TPS holders, farm workers and other essential workers. As new attacks persist, we are not stopping now.
Thank you for helping fuel our fight,
Greisa, United We Dream Action
