Friend,

Right now our country seems to be living in two separate realities. One is based in science, compromise, and reason – and the other one isn’t. As the Delta variant continues to spread like wildfire, we need to do everything in our power to convince the ‘other’ reality that the vaccine is safe, effective, and free. Which it is.

I’ll go first. If you haven’t gotten vaccinated yet, please consider the following. Cases across the country are skyrocketing. Children’s ICUs are filling up. Americans are dying. Among those hospitalized or worse, over 95% are unvaccinated.

We’ve done this before. We beat Polio, Hepatitis, Rubella, Measles, and Chicken Pox. If we’re going to beat COVID, we must work together. We must get vaccinated. Which is why I've now mandated that ALL Richmond City employees must get the vaccine.
